Who We Are
Founded in 1996 by Dr. Caswell Evans, the Caucus on Public Health and the Faith Community (CPHFC) provides a platform for scholarship, practice, and partnership at APHA and beyond – supporting faith communities as trusted partners in improving the human condition.
“We all recognize that dotted across this country is a rich fabric of faith organizations in various faith communities... but what they all share is a belief in faith and dedication to the improvement of the human condition which is exactly what public health is about, improvement in the human condition.”
Dr. Caswell Evans, CPHFC Founder & Former President of APHA
